Pensychnant Nature Conservation Centre

This Victorian estate operates as a nature reserve and conservation centre with 120 acres of heathland and woodland.

Here you’ll find spring birds and rare moths amongst other species as well as guided walks, talks and other events. Pensychnant collaborates with a range of naturalists and wildlife organisations who work together to conserve the wildlife and natural beauty of North Wales.

The Pensychnant Nature Conservation Centre hosts displays, lectures and other events about wildlife, its threats and conservation. The focus here is on education and understanding what wildlife needs to thrive in order to conserve it.

Popular with birdwatchers as well as conservationists, bird species found here include choughs, ravens, cuckoos, skylarks, redstarts, wood warblers, and woodpeckers.

Guided walks are one of the best ways to spot birds and other wildlife. Wildlife art exhibitions are also displayed here with collections by Philip Snow and Betty Mills.

Pensychnant Nature Conservation Centre is a lovely spot in Wales…
