Sennen and Land’s End

This 6-mile moderate route takes in the South West Coast Path from Sennen Cove to Mill Bay, encompassing Land’s End along the way, before returning inland through fields and small lanes to Sennen.

Natural beauty combined with abundant wildlife and a compelling historical interest make this one of the most fascinating walks in Cornwall.

This circular walk allows you to take in the finest sights at the western tip of Cornwall, not least the world-famous Land’s End landmark. As well as mesmerising coastline, this superb Cornwall walk presents luscious valleys and rolling fields.

  • Begin this Cornwall circular walk at the Sennen Cove Harbour Car Park. Head in between the public toilets and the Cape Cornwall Gig Racing Club, turn left and climb the steps, where the perfect scenery first appears across the headland.
  • Granite clifftops lead you through some of the finest Cornish scenery, you will also stumble across an Iron Age cliff castle and various Bronze Age burial sites, bringing both beauty and history to this superb Cornwall walk.
  • Continue along the Coast Path and stumble across the famed sight of Land’s End, take some time to take in this unique and world-famous landmark before setting off once again.
  • From here, you can choose to either return via public transport, go back the way you came or embark on the alternative route back to Sennen.
  • The alternative route joins a section of the National Cycleway Route 3, spanning 2.5 miles through luscious green prehistoric fields and back towards glorious Sennen Cove
