This small area of golden sands rests at the eastern end of the serene Ventnor Botanic Garden and on the outskirts of the popular resort. The sands are sheltered by the Ventnor Undercliff, offering beach goers plenty of shade and suntraps; perfect for sunbathing.

Steephill Cove also benefits from rock pools and clear swimming waters, so you can easily enjoy a refreshing dip.

In order to reach the cove, you simply need to embark on a short stroll from Ventnor Esplanade along the Isle of Wight Coast Path. Upon arrival, you’ll be pleased to find white sands and panoramic views of the English Channel.

The Beach Shack and The Crab Shed rest just off the cove, where you can enjoy relaxed dining in front of those sea views.
