  • After crossing the bridge, continue along the signposted tracked for the coastal trail to Willapark. You will reach a fork in the track, keep left along the stony path and follow this before bearing left and climbing a set of steps up and heading left along the headland.
  • Carry on following the mesmerising coastal path, which includes having to cross a number of gates, stiles and streams and passing many sites of history and natural beauty.
  • After hiking across Firebeacon Hill, Trevalga Cliff and more stunning spots, begin the steep climb up Rocky Valley and simply admire the unrivalled views of the landscapes below.
  • After a scenic stop-off and returning to the coastal path, discover Benoath Cove below and Willapark slightly inland. You will soon reach a gully, head down the steps where you can choose from a number of way-marked paths each as picturesque as the other.
  • After choosing your preferred alternative, take a sharp left up onto the Willapark headland, where you continue through the kissing gate and stay right to carry on along the coastal path.
  • You will find yourself on Smith’s Cliff, noted for its geology. Head past Barras Gug and Barras Nose, both certainly worth a detour before the final leg of this coastal walk in Cornwall.
  • Find the paths heading towards Glebe Cliff, head down a small set of steps and follow the final path towards the magical structure that is Tintagel Castle.
