Welcome to the Roseland Peninsula and our Portloe holiday cottages, dotted about this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty bordered by the Fal Estuary to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.

Expect spectacular coastal scenery, wonderful walking and water sports, as well as some fabulous visitor attractions, all an easy drive from our holiday rentals in Portloe.

Stroll around the harbour and watch fishermen land their catch of lobster, crab and pilchards - then head to the Ship Inn (children and dogs welcome) with its low-beamed ceilings and nautical bric-a-brac or the elegant Lugger Hotel for a sensational plate of seafood.

Seek out secluded coves and picturesque creeks, great for relaxing days out with the family. Enjoy rambles with the dog along amazing coastal paths and idyllic wooded valleys.

Discover the nooks and crannies of St. Mawes, the principal settlement on the peninsula and well-known for its beautifully preserved castle. From here you can take the ferry over to Falmouth and discover a line-up of great attractions like Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum, plus shops, restaurants and so on.
