Walks from your Ingleton cottage

Of course, if fresh air and sweeping skies are more your thing, Ingleton is a gateway to Yorkshire's stunning limestone Dales - a paradise for walkers, climbers and mountain bikers alike. Test your stamina on the Three Peaks Challenge, guaranteeing twenty-five miles of mind-boggling scenery. Or opt for the much gentler Waterfalls Trail at Ingleton Waterfalls, a lovely circular route through ancient woods, featuring stunning watery cascades including the famous Thornton Force.

And if you fancy venturing a little further, you can visit Horton in Ribblesdale, another pretty village nearby, perfectly placed for exploring the Three Peaks. Alternatively, head to Bainbridge, a pretty village in Wensleydale known for its traditional green and scenic walks along the River Bain - a serene day out!

Back in town explore Ingleton's winding streets lined with gift shops, galleries and cosy tearooms.
