Travel to Bournemouth by road

If you’re travelling to Bournemouth by car, you’ll normally take the M27 which becomes the A31 through the New Forest. Then take the A338 (Bournemouth) exit at Ringwood.

Travel to Bournemouth by train

Although travelling by train to Bournemouth means you can enjoy the beautiful countryside, it can take a little longer to reach your destination unless you take an Express service. SouthWest Trains run regular fast services from London Waterloo and other locations on the South coast, such as Poole. CrossCountry Trains also run to Manchester via Birmingham.

Travel to Bournemouth by plane

You can fly to Bournemouth, Dorset, from a variety of different destinations in the UK and Europe and a number of airlines fly directly to the airport. There is an airport bus service which connects directly to the town centre.
