Although Buxton isn’t close to the UK’s motorway network, some major trunk roads intersect here and it is easy to reach via the A6 from Manchester and the A515 from Derby and Ashbourne. A number of other roads, such as the A54 from Congleton and the A53 from Stoke-on-Trent also cross through the area.
