Travel to Loch Lomond by road

From the north or west, take the A82 into the park. From the south or east, use the M74/M8 to pass Glasgow, before changing to the M898 as far as Erskine Bridge, where you can pick up the A82 into the park.

Travel to Loch Lomond by train

The easiest way to reach Loch Lomond by train is to travel to Glasgow, one of two lines offer direct access. The Glasgow-Balloch route takes 50 minutes, with trains from Glasgow to Arrochar & Tarbet on the West Highland line also available. These offers some truly amazing views of the park.
