Whether you are looking for rocky heights or picturesque riverside rambles, there are walks in the Peak District to suit you. Join the Pennine Way at Edale to reach the highest point in the area, Kinder Scout, measuring 636 metres. Climb the hillside to reach Kinder Downfall and take a moment to admire the panoramic views of the Kinder Reservoir from the top of the Dark Peaks, before continuing southwards to Noe Stool. For a less strenuous trail, take the 5-mile trail to Mam Tor, the famous Bronze Age hill, and admire the natural history of the area that is still visible today.

There are a wealth of dog walks in the Peak District that all the family can enjoy. Explore the beautiful limestone dales like Lathkill, full of wildlife, copious amounts of flora and fauna and its river is the perfect spot for dogs to cool off after a long walk. For views of the exceptional 16th century estate, Chatsworth House, follow the path beginning in the village of Beeley. Travel through woods and moorland, passing the Swiss Cottage and Emperor Lake, finally entering the Arcadian grounds of the estate, possibly spotting fallow deer on the riverbanks.
