The charity rests on the outskirts of Sandown and houses a wealth of exotic and endangered animals. From tigers and lions to small mammals and reptiles, there’re plenty to see here!
Wildheart Animal Sanctuary regularly undertakes rescue missions around the global. These missions include saving lions from beast wagons in Spain and rescuing tigers from a circus in Italy.
After rescuing the animals, they offer them quaint home that mimics their natural environment, where they can enjoy the peaceful life they deserve.
The charity is open to the public, too, and offers a range of fantastic experiences. You can look forward to watching lion and tiger feeds up close, or even being a keeper for the day!
After viewing the animals and partaking in an experience, be sure to settle down at the on-site café for a tasty treat. Alternatively, if you’re visiting with kids, why not take them to the play area while you watch on from the picnic area?
