The property

Bretherdale Barn lies near the small hamlet of Greenholme on the eastern edge of the Lake District close to the market town of Kendal.

It is a converted barn and offers shared access to the on-site Spa building. This renovated barn and farm house has been completely modernised.

Set over three floors the property provides high quality spacious accommodation for a large group of friends or family. The ground floor has stone floors and under-floor heating.

On this level are 2 x double bedrooms and 1 x twin bedroom (all with en-suite shower and WC) as well as a luxurious bathroom.

On the first floor is an open plan living area with oak floors and a wood burning fire, a dining area and well equipped kitchen.

The second floor has a communal reading area, 1 x double bedroom and 1 x twin bedroom (again both with en-suite shower and WC). Outside is a parking space, a private garden, with garden furniture, barbeque and views of the surrounding valley and fells, and access to local walks in the Tebay area as well as to the Spa facilities. The market towns of Kendal and Penrith are close by and the hamlet of Greenholme offers limited local shopping.

Bretherdale Barn is situated next door to a spa which can be used by guests. The local region contains some of the most dramatic scenery in England.

It is easy to access the Lake District, especially around Ullswater and Lake Windermere, travel east to the Yorkshire Dales, or north towards the Eden Valley and the secretive Howgill Fells.

In addition, the nearby M6 gives ready access to Carlisle and Lancaster. Bretherdale Barn is ideal for a group of friends or family looking to spend time in one of the most beautiful corners of England.
