Situated on the River Goyt, at the head of the beautiful Peak Forest Canal, is the peaceful little town of Whaley Bridge. The settlement is centred around a picturesque conservation area and the Grade II listed Transhipment Warehouse, one of many reminders of Whaley Bridge's fascinating industrial and aquatic heritage.
