About the property

Located above the lovely town of Salcombe, Mallards is a well-presented and spacious home, lying within the South Devon AONB where you can delight in both the countryside and the coast. Perfectly suited to a family holiday or a reunion of friends with its three bedrooms, this property will be a fantastic base for whatever your adventures involve. Come back from the beach and once you've shaken all the sand away, hop onto one of the inviting sofas and wind down with some television or get stuck into a book for an hour. The lovely wooden dining table opposite is perfect for gathering around for a board game, or why not plan the activities for the rest of the trip together? You'll cook up some delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, fitted beautifully in a lovely green hue and bright and airy like the rest of the property. Benefiting from two balconies means that on a warm summer morning you can enjoy a coffee looking out to Shadycombe towards Snapes Point and the hills beyond. When night falls, head to one of the three bedrooms which comprise of a 5ft in the master bedroom, a twin and another twin with 2'6" single beds. The rooms are served by a family bathroom which includes a walk in shower. Outside you have half an acre of terraced grounds and lush greenery, as well as garden furniture and a gas barbecue for when the sun comes out. The town of Salcombe is a delightful place with many things to do on your doorstep, take a stroll around the harbour and marvel at all the different boats, stopping to get some classic fish 'n' chips on the way. Head down to one of Salcombe's beaches; North Sands for a paddle in the calm shallow waters, or South Sands to try your hand at paddle-boarding or kayaking.
