Just a couple of suggestions that would have made the holiday even better :- As we had two young grandchildren with us that needed to be in bed at a reasonable time, it would have been great to have a barbecue in the cottage for evening meals! Also my son had to do some work during the holiday as many people do now & the WiFi really could do with updating. Other minor things - a couple of the bedroom windows could do with repairing (you were unable to secure the window when open & the open window just blew back & forth), also downstairs bathroom could do with hooks to hang your clothes on while showering.

The property

This stunning house is situated in the heart of the charming market town of Lymington, on the west bank of the Lymington River at the western end of The Solent, and at the southern edge of the New Forest National Park.

Elegantly furnished throughout to provide light and airy, contemporary accommodation, the cottage is ideal for a family get-together or weekend away with friends wanting to enjoy the many attractions of this popular area.

As you step into the cottage you get a sense of the quality and style the property offers with four individually styled bedrooms, dressed with quality bed linen ensuring a good night's sleep for all guests, with the master bedroom featuring a stunning en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath.

An equally stylish and beautifully tiled wet room can be found on the ground floor, ideal for rinsing off after a day on the beach.

The open plan living area includes a superb, well-equipped kitchen with a dining area to seat all guests as well as a seating area where you can relax after a busy day of fun-filled activities.

The cottage also benefits from a separate cosy sitting room with a comfortable corner sofa, Smart TV and an open fire, making a lovely room to snuggle down in whilst watching your favourite film and listening to the fire crackling away.

No matter what you get up to during the day, once home all you need to do is simply slip into the bubbling hot tub and soak away life’s stresses with a large glass of bubbly.

Lymington, a popular sailing resort, has a diverse range of shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep, and with the train station just a few minutes' walk away, you can even leave your car at home.
