Whitby Abbey is a popular choice, perched on a clifftop overlooking the town, a perfect sightseeing opportunity.

If you're feeling adventurous, try and conquer the 199 steps and once you've reached the top some of the most magnificent views imaginable.

Pannett Park is an excellent choice for those country morning walks with your furry companion.

Whitby Golf club is also nearby for those keen sporty types.
