Peek into the past on a visit to Brodsworth Hall!
There's something rather special about this century old
shack. Constructed between 1861-1863, and occupied until the demise
of the doughty Sylvia Grant-Dalton in 1988, the house remains
remarkably untouched. Visitors to Brodswoth hall can expect to find
a plethora of original features and family mementoes dotted
throughout the 30 plus rooms of the house, collected over a period
of 120 years. Meander your way through the grand rooms on the first
floor and notice the myriad of sport themed artworks, hung over 100
years ago by the avid horseracing fan Charles Thellusson. Enter the
cavernous Victorian Kitchen with its original servant's table
and monstrous cooking range; truly a world away from the cosy
cottage kitchen waiting for you back at your Yorkshire holiday
cottage!
