A rural county of rolling hills, it is home to the unique landscape of Exmoor National Park, the perfect setting for a scenic coastal walk, or to simply observe the vast and varied wildlife and take some incredible photographs of your surroundings.

There are some incredible beach resorts to enjoy, including Weston-super-Mare and Minehead, if it’s a more relaxed holiday in the sunshine you are looking for. Look out for the phenomenal Cheddar Gorge, the largest in the UK, with its dramatic cliffs rising to more than 450ft. Other must-visit attractions include Bath, the home of Jane Austen, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Abbey and Brean Leisure Park.
