    Very spacious. Beds a little uncomfortable so might be time to replace some of the mattresses but all in all, a fantastic stay!

The property

NorLodge is a beautiful, single-storey Scandinavian-style lodge serenely located overlooking the verdant greens of the golf course and shimmering lake beyond.

These magnificent grounds form part of the 320-acre Kenwick Park Estate, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

There is a 72 par championship golf course set amidst a most magical landscape.

The Golf Club serves delicious meals and The Hotel offers lunches and dinner, along with a variety of restaurants and takeaways in nearby Louth, there is plenty of choice.

NorLodge has a spacious master bedroom with en-suite facilities and a super-king-size bed comprising of two singles for flexible sleeping arrangements, along with three twin bedrooms.

With a family bathroom plus an additional shower room there are no shortages of facilities to prepare for an exciting day ahead with either a soothing bath or spacious walk-in shower.

The open-plan living area is a stunning room designed to offer an ever-changing series of views across the parkland as the seasons change and the day's light dapples the scenery.

There is a Harman Kardon three-piece speaker system that plays music from iphones, ipads or any electronic device that has a jack socket so everyone is catered for.

The lodge has an excellent, well-equipped kitchen perfect for cooking a delicious meal, and on sunny days, why not take your meal outside to the large decked area furnished for outdoor dining.

It would be easy to stay within this beautiful environment forever, however there are more temptations on offer outside the grounds.

Kenwick Park is set within the Lincolnshire Wolds with rolling hills and stunning countryside.

For the more energetic there are good cycle routes on quiet country roads around the villages outside of Louth.

There are lots of sign-posted country walks too that can take you through little villages with their quaint pubs, some offering lunchtime menus.

The delights of one of the UK's finest heritage cities, Lincoln, is a mere 30 miles drive away offering a vibrant mix of historical attractions, an individual shopping experience within The Bailgate and a great choice of gourmet restaurants and bistros guaranteed to tempt every taste and budget.

Lincoln is also home to the popular Cathedral and Lincoln Castle that have undergone a £22 million restoration programme and are now visited by people from all over the world.

If you fancy a paddle, the picturesque Lincolnshire coast is less than 15 miles from Norlodge.

For those who like motorbike or car racing, the popular Cadwell Park is just a short drive away.

If you can tear yourself away from the woods you will discover a whole host of attractions and days out. The idyllic market town of Louth is three miles away; known as The Capital of the Wolds, Louth and the wolds in which it sits, are recognised and awarded as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A short drive away could see you spending time on one of the East Coast's wonderful sandy beaches. Whether it’s the quieter beaches of Theddlethorpe or Sutton or the lively resorts at Skegness and Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire's coastline has something for everyone. Between October and December, the coastline at Donna Nook becomes home to a 3000 plus strong grey seal colony, where over 1000 seal pups are born annually, a fantastic spectacle drawing 1000s of visitors each year. Horncastle is an antique lovers dream, while the quaint town of Woodhall Spa offers a host of interesting family attractions including the unique Kinema In The Woods and a heated outdoor swimming pool in Jubilee Park, along with a world-renowned championship golf course. A little further away is the historic city of Lincoln with its awe-inspiring cathedral set proudly on the skyline. With Lincoln Castle and the wonderful cobbled streets at the top of the city, you can wander down the famous Steep Hill into the excellent shopping facilities.
